DESCRIPTION:@benwerd I use markdown for initial authoring purely for speed,
esp. when typing on mobile devices. After that I just edit the HTML. I’
ve yet to come across a WYSIWIM editor which satisfied my semantic, well-s
 tructured HTML needs, any suggestions?

DESCRIPTION:Battle for the planet of the APIs by @adactio — nice piece of
writing, it’s worth pointing out that Twitter still includes rel=me lin
ks back to homepages, but is increasingly wrapping them with t.co, making
them fairly useless.\n\nWhilst I admire RSS as a rallying cry for the open
ness of data on the web, I don’t like it much, mainly due to it’s DRY
violation. microformats2 is the better solution.

ors, etc. Check it out if you deal with #microformats 2 at all in PHP.

SUMMARY:Just finished #watching…
DESCRIPTION:Just finished #watching Laputa, Castle in the Sky again. It may
not have the strongest plot out of all the Myazaki films, but it *does* h
ave, in approximate order of appearance:\n\nCrazy awesome airships\nMyster
ious crystals\nFlying pirates\nBad guys who wear dark glasses at night, in
side and underground\nPseudo-Welsh miners\nA hermit who talks to rocks and
has a beard\nRobots. Lots and lots of robots. One of them looks after bir
ds nests and picks flowers. Others destroy things with their crazy laser v
ision.\nStylised lightning which looks like dragons\nAnd at the end: a fly
ing island which looks like a giant jellyfish, floating gracefully into or
bit\nThe robots look like this:\n\n\n\nMy point being that anyone who dema
nds any more than this from a film probably doesn’t deserve it.
