Hm, the “people thinking that I’m 25” thing is happening a bit too regularly. Can't decide whether this is a good thing, or to trim the beard.
Fascinating — Konrad Lorenz compares cultural revolution with exoskeleton-clad Arthropods shedding their shells:
The act of demolishing carefully erected structures, though indispensable if better adapted ones are to arise, is always followed by a period of vulnerability.

Arrived in Iceland
All packed for #iceland. Or, at least, I think I am. My bag is heavy enough that I’m unlikely to add anything else.
24746 #steps today! New personal best.
mikewalters37 thanks! Will do :)
Dad wants me to take photos of the Icelandic… glaciers, geysers, volcanoes, northern lights, mountains, beautiful desolation supermarkets. Seriously.
Got the last few bits of rubbish out of what was my workshop, saw Jovian Salak (have fun in Nepal!), packed most of my luggage and got all the bits of paper required to get to Iceland together. Leaving tomorrow at 12 noon, flight at 8 in the evening. Probably spending the hours at the airport watching studio ghibli films.
Brennan Novak more or less :) As ready as I’m likely to be. See you in April! #iceland

Turns out that performing a GET request on a data URI from PHP works if file_get_contents is used, not if cURL is used. I wonder what support is like for other server side languages — using data URIs in with
could be the basis of some interesting #webactions.

#watching Princess Mononoke. Thankfully dad fell asleep a while ago and stopped giggling :/
Brennan Novak by WebKit you mean “Chrome”, right? :)
Nice visualisation of XKCD Time: xkcd.aubronwood.com #bookmark #xkcd

Josh Emerson yep, functions perfectly now — nice work :)
Laurent Eschenauer thanks for the heads-up, on closer inspection it looks like the problem is on your end — the URL in the with
attribute of the action element has that quote at the end
Jovian Salak thanks :) If anything it means I’m more likely to get work when I get back — people are starting to find me, which can only be a good thing.
