1. Just pushed a plugin which auto–populates the <ins> and <del> elements with their little–known datetime and cite attributes. Hopefully, coupled with my article update histories and a bit of , this’ll allow for some native-HTML version control type stuff.

  2. Andy Piper: Had a rummage through old #lego box and found some old favourites http://t.co/71xjizlw http://t.co/gFWasqqS :-)

andypiper those classic space minifigs are some of my all time favourites. Way better than most of what they produce today, although ninjago is a comforting return to form

  3. Aral Balkan: Realising I‘ve come full circle to having a hand‐crafted static site, just like I did in 1999 :) http://t.co/cCVgd751 DayGlo colours FTW.

aral you were into popup ads then, right? :D Or is that tripod’s fault?

Always nice to see people’s early work :)

  4. Oscar and I just watched the last two episodes of Captain Scarlet. Our conclusion is the same as that of The Hunger Games: they should have left off the end bit and concluded at a dramatic moment.

The whole “and it was all Symphony’s dream” is infuriating, and the last episode is a pointless clip show in which the only thing we learn about the Mysterons is that they own(ed) some old warehouse somewhere. Ah well, on to Stingray next, I suppose

  5. Doing a mass find-and-replace operation on the Perch Blog app so I can have more than one running at the same time. If you want to do something similar, here are the strings you need to replace:

    • blogyourName
    • BlogYourName
    • perch_blogyourPrefix_yourName
    • PerchBlogYourName

And then obviously rename the .class.php files and activate as you would any other app.

  6. It must be amazing to be a squirrel and really be able to experience the world in three dimensions. We only really get 2 and a half.
