In reply to a post on waterpigs.co.ukAccording to the various amusingly narrated youtube videos and the web in general, you can take the leafy top of a pineapple, prune it and get it to start rooting, then plant it. One year later you have a little pineapple plant which makes more pineapples. I think the pineapple I tried so far was too dead to begin with :(

In reply to a post on waterpigs.co.ukHa ha ha well I was planning on keeping it indoors, but the idea of growing pineapples outside is also intriguing! Steiner as in Rudolph Steiner, the 19C esoteric?

In reply to a post on waterpigs.co.ukLook at Steiners methods. If he can do it in the Alps you can do it in the lowlands.

In reply to a post on waterpigs.co.ukHow does one attempt to grow a pineapple? (Pineapples are one of the plants that baffles me completely!)
