Having properly read through the spec for Salmon and Magic Signatures I actually think it’s a pretty good system.

indieweb proposal: whenever people get excited about some new silo, we take the best parts and hack together an indie implementation using our existing websites and content.

I have to say I am very impressed with @twitter’s tweet embedding HTML. Progressive enhancement + graceful degradation at it’s best.
