I am hugely annoyed at @twitter’s API stupidity, but almost as annoyed by their failure to provide a consistent tweet authoring experience across their platform.

If I see “remaining chars = 0”, I expect the tweet to post, not give me some near-meaningless error message. I also expect URLs to be automatically detected and compensated for consistently across the platform. This is just crap #ui.

Just put in a few solid hours working on https://github.com/indieweb/php-mf2/ — it’s now at v0.1.6 and has preliminary support for the microformats-2 canonical JSON representation. As always it is installable via composer via "mf2/mf2": "0.1.*"

Just had rather an educational experience using devices at the #exeterweb lab. Will publish thoughts and results later on.

When using apachebench, what should I be looking for? Raw speed or consistency of speed?

Google say there’s a “significant” number of pages sending X-Pingback — I'd like to see actual stats.
