  1. A web where everyone develops their own ideas and tools independent of one another is like a room full of people talking and no one listening. @trentwalton

  4. Using identengine.com’s profiles API to auto-h-card twitter at-names is working brilliantly. I no longer have to add twitter: somename to my address book entries.

  5. ↪ Aral Balkan: @BarnabyWalters Extensions like NoScript do this, no? +@TheOnion

Aral Balkan perhaps noscript should add “get theonion articles free” to their feature list

  6. ↪ Aral Balkan: @BarnabyWalters Extensions like NoScript do this, no? +@TheOnion

Aral Balkan oh yep, looks like noscript does blacklisting. I suppose otherwise it would be a fancy version of Develop → Disable Javascript ;)

  7. ↪ Aral Balkan: Disable JavaScript and hit http://t.co/crOIsTCX to scroll through the “article” in about 30 seconds or click a button 42 times with JS. #ux

Aral Balkan #idea for browser extension: site-specific js disabling. If you disable js on theOnion the paywall goes away :/

  8. Reminder to self: all existing online survey services are crap, build a better one #todo

  11. ↪ Jeffrey Zeldman: I’ll use the next generation of hCard, @BarnabyWalters @brennannovak. Current Microformats are too verbose. Happy #bbd12. @t @adactio

@zeldman by which you mean µf2? It would be fab to see you roll them out as well!

  12. ↪ Brennan Novak: @BarnabyWalters hah, I'd hope @t @adactio beat me- they've been playing this whole web game a bit longer than I have.

Brennan Novak hey, you did better than @zeldman. There’s nary an hcard on his personal site :/ http://identengine.com/api/identities/http%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fzeldman/profiles/

  13. REL-ME SHOWDOWN: Who has the best linked identities on the web? It’s between Brennan Novak, Tantek Çelik and Jeremy Keith

  16. ↪ Jack Way: 'Next' and 'previous' links. Which way round should they be?

Jack Way time goes left to right, so prev before next. I wonder if it’s the other way round for rtol languages

    18:37 30th November 2012 (updated)
  17. ↪ Brad Frost: This drawing of device diversity by @anna_debenham is pretty much the coolest thing ever. http://t.co/T6TybeoV

  18. Great to see that Zend Framework implements a PuSH publisher and client, with Hub “coming soon” #indieweb

    17:01 30th November 2012 (updated)
  19. ↪ Brennan Novak: @BarnabyWalters Lulz... some of those *look* nice ;) In other news- it seems your site is no longer default HTML styling- what gives?

Brennan Novak the naked HTML week is up, so I’m adding little tweaks and fixes back in gradually. I’d be interested in feedback about the typeface. It’s Averia.

  20. My god. “Premium Bootstrap Themes”.

Built on a “rock solid base”. I assume they mean the fact that a supposedly “responsive” framework uses px for all typographical dimensions?
