  6. Using identengine.com’s profiles API to auto-h-card twitter at-names is working brilliantly. I no longer have to add twitter: somename to my address book entries.

  7. ↪ Aral Balkan: @BarnabyWalters Extensions like NoScript do this, no? +@TheOnion

Aral Balkan perhaps noscript should add “get theonion articles free” to their feature list

  8. ↪ Aral Balkan: @BarnabyWalters Extensions like NoScript do this, no? +@TheOnion

Aral Balkan oh yep, looks like noscript does blacklisting. I suppose otherwise it would be a fancy version of Develop → Disable Javascript ;)

  9. ↪ Aral Balkan: Disable JavaScript and hit http://t.co/crOIsTCX to scroll through the “article” in about 30 seconds or click a button 42 times with JS. #ux

Aral Balkan #idea for browser extension: site-specific js disabling. If you disable js on theOnion the paywall goes away :/

  14. ↪ Brennan Novak: @BarnabyWalters hah, I'd hope @t @adactio beat me- they've been playing this whole web game a bit longer than I have.

Brennan Novak hey, you did better than @zeldman. There’s nary an hcard on his personal site :/ http://identengine.com/api/identities/http%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fzeldman/profiles/
