If you’re a PHP dev and you haven’t heard of Composer yet, IMO you’re doing it wrong!

Composer is a great tool. I finally replaced a load of my hacked-together libraries with proper Symfony and Zend ones.
.@idiot also, “each item is instantly shoppable”
Having a great time discussing design and UX with my awesome photographer friend
I really regret not having used version control over the entire lifetime of my site, I’d love to make a time lapse /cc Jeremy Keith
…and with a mere ~160 lines of code changed (including very little markup), I am much, much happier with the overall aesthetic.
Decided I’m sick of my current site design, but that with a few very small changes I can make it look a whole lot better. Woo design iteration!
I was going to implement activitypingback.org this afternoon but got carried away adding docblocks to my code.
Wow, never thought I'd write “docblocks” and “carried away” in the same sentence :/
Aaron Parecki I use and enjoy Piwik. Real-time analytics is great and the API can be really useful too. In fact I don’t use it as much as I’d like to.
Now if only phpDocumentor could run my tests and display testing information as well. I would live in localhost/docs!
Oh man, PHPDocumentor produces awesome results http://phpdoc.org/
.@malarkey I found that bug again, on @tommorris’ site: http://photos.waterpigs.co.uk/p/oj — Inspection revealed nothing, refresh fixed. Worth reporting?
Reduced test cases are my friends tonight #microformats
HA! value-class pattern, I have beaten you.
For at least one test case. But still.
The value–class pattern for datetimes was made to torture parser developers, right? #microformats
@sandeepshetty yep. At the moment it’s a couple of functions, by tomorrow it’ll be a PHP5 namespaced composer package.
Just had a nice buzz from implementing generic #microformats-2 parsing and not having to redefine each different type
My #microformats-2 parser will allow for generic parsing (i.e. won’t have to be updated for each new µf) and I’ll do my best to handle nested µf well
Increasingly, my #indieweb activities are moving from “Publishing my own content” to “Intelligently parsing other people’s content”. As such, I am writing a PHP #microformats-2 parser
This is what Pingback should have been, not crappy XMLRPC nonsense: http://activitypingback.org/
