Does anyone have any experience getting serial data out of the multimeter quarter of a PeakTech 4110? Tried flicking through all modes and functions both via a cheap RS232 to USB adapter, and monitoring pins with a logic analyser, but I don’t see anything happening.

Is there an institution or organisation somewhere whose explicit goal is to constantly run unit tests on basic physical phenomena, just in case, say, the gravitational constant suddenly changes or something?

The problem seems to be around the 19-20^th notes — that’s how I play it but it means there’s an extra quaver. Otherwise it could almost be alternating bars of 7/4 and 8/4. Any ideas?
