But if you need compatibility with older browsers, a table might still be the best tool for the job.

I absolutely love Averia, and use it all over my personal website. I think it is a wonderful idea, brilliantly executed. The result is surprisingly readable, and the slight “erosion” effect reminds me a lot of very early type. Many thanks for making these fonts and licensing them so freely :)
Brennan Novak the naked HTML week is up, so I’m adding little tweaks and fixes back in gradually. I’d be interested in feedback about the typeface. It’s Averia.
I didn’t think I’d be able to train myself to use the keyboard shortcuts for curly quotes, but it’s actually second nature now.
Human Planet still makes the best use of subtitles I’ve ever seen. Strangely the punctuation has no text shadow, though.
Is it just me who judges monospaced fonts by whether or not - and > line up vertically?
Why is it all of these fonts have kerning errors built in?
