.Nick Charlton have you seen this video of quadcopters doing scarily impressive learning? Think I mentioned it to you but couldn’t find the link #robotics #bookmark #tech
Current status: manually copying, pasting and emailing my iOS diagnostics information to myself so I can mine and visualise it. This is stupid.
What is it called when you subconsciously expect a UI to be somewhere it isn’t, e.g. double-tapping a word in a dead tree book to get a definition, or expecting a "like/favourite" button in, e.g, an email client?
And no jokes about obsession :) it can't just be me.

aral hideous. That makes me more embarrassed to be a PHP dev than all the bad rep it has as a language. And they're teaching SVN! It gets worse :(

I don't feel emotionally intelligent enough to write anything which adequately sums up my anger at the sexism-in-tech situation.
Fortunately, @sazzy, rellyab and many others are, and have. Props to you all, keep going, I will support you however I can.

john_nye good god that’s hideous. But in hindsight it was only a matter of time :/
Salvaged three laptop hard dives — almost 1TB of storage for the price of some enclosures.
Finished reading Steve Jobs, The man who thought different by Karen Blumenthal.
A nice summary of Steve’s life, with some interesting details I’d not come across before. The technical mistakes were a let–down, and the language was patronising at times (e.g. explaining what “profit” meant).

Aaron Parecki I wish they would show you which email/number they're calling if you hav multiple. Gives it some context.
Amazed at #HTML+, which had scribble

form input elements! http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/HTMLPlus/htmlplus_41.html
Anna Debenham perhaps that will help shut some of the “same old faces” complainers up
davewiner I disagree that browser makers should “make sure they don’t break bootstrap apps”. They should concentrate on following specs, and markup authors should do the same.
I wish more articles were presented in this form: http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2012/12/zork-infocom-pioneer-award/
Trying out kangoextensions.com for cross-browser extension building. I kinda feel this is something vendors should have figured out already :/
