Thanks to everyone who made the annual Brighton dConstruct + Indie Web Camp experience a meaningful, hilarious, insightful, political, delicious joy.
“It’s hard to know what to call people… …these terms worked well for users whose mental models fitted the language we were using, they were not well understood by everyone.”

Finally got “home” home after one of the most intense weekends of my life. Now to spend a relaxing week sorting out the garage, finishing and trying to sell a hurdy gurdy, meeting up with people and following up #indiewebcamp.
Want to see IWCUK but can’t come? There’s a hangout: plus.google.com/hangouts/_/f78618cbdafa66c60c8c37de7a89fbef6f364d93
We’ll also be extensively etherpad-, IRC- and wiki-ing everything throughout the day.
Checked into Lighthouse for #indiewebcamp UK
On which note, looking forward to meeting all the people signed up for #indiewebcamp UK tomorrow! I’m the long haired beardy kid handing out badges.
#indiewebcampuk people: up for having an informal dinner meetup Friday (6th) evening around 19:30? Location unspecified as yet.
